Making the decision to live for Jesus is the best decision you will ever make. As a church, we want to do everything possible to help you develop and grow in your relationship with Jesus. If we only connect you to a religion, organization, or other relationships without Christ as the focal point, we have failed as a church. Without Jesus life is meaningless, but with Him, you will not only obtain eternal life, you will find fulfillment and your purpose here on earth. Here are a few things we believe is important to share with you as a new believer as you pursue Jesus. The life changing truths of the scriptures are relevant, bringing wholeness to your life as you learn more about God and grow closer to Him.Build relationships with other Christians− It’s important that you build relationships with other Christians. Life is not always easy, but it sure is easier having other Christians alongside to encourage and build you up along the way. Also, try to find a mature Christian who can spend time investing into you. It’s always beneficial to have someone who has experienced the same thing you may be experiencing now.Get plugged into a church− You don’t have to go to church to be a Christian, but it’s good to be a part of something bigger than yourself. God created us to be in relationship with each other, and church gives us the opportunity to do just that.Serve those around you− This is something we that we may not like to hear, but it’s what we are called to do as Christians. Just as Jesus was the ultimate example of servanthood, live to serve others at work, home, church and your community.Connect groupsConnect Groups here at Living Word are all about helping you build lasting relationships.
